Dr. Hart Ling Cheung.
DVM
Dr. Cheung is originally from Hong Kong and received her DVM training in China and the UK. After veterinary school, she completed a one-year rotating internship at a private referral practice in Hong Kong, where she gained significant exposure to emergency medicine and critical care. She then spent the next six years of her career working in various major cities, including Beijing, Hong Kong, and London, before settling down in the Bay area, which she has happily called home for the past seven years. Dr. Cheung has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery, abdominal ultrasound, preventative medicine, geriatric care, and small pocket pet medicine. She enjoys building a strong relationship with her clients as well as their furry family members, and her practice philosophy is providing sensible, high-quality medicine with a focus on open communication.
During her free time, Dr. Cheung enjoys learning languages and spending time with her young human son as well as her furrier son — rescue dog, Merlin. They enjoy visiting National Parks and hiking the many trails that California has to offer.
Languages
Dr. Cheung speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
